The Deputy Director General Central for DIRI/LAW Campaign Council, Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah (Ph.D) has call on Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva, the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to applaud His Excellency Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State for turning the fortune of the state to the true Glory of all Lands.

The Former Legislator who was on TrackNews Live TV Programme, Prosperity Hour on Wednesday, asked Sylva to commend Governor Diri via his confirmatory statement that our terrain is difficult in terms of project execution when Sylva appeared on Channel TV Programme Politics Today on Tuesday.

Rt. Hon. Isenah who give credence to Governor Diri for his developmental initiative over the last few years in spite of the challenges he confronted upon assumption of office ranging from series of litigations and COVID-19 Pandemic, yet the governor was able to achieve much such as his security initiative that has rank Bayelsa State as one of the most peaceful state in Nigeria and how the governor has brought roads to all the three Senatorial District of the State in spite of the difficult terrain.

Isenah said before the only access road to Yenagoa, is the Mbiama-Yenagoa road, but today the Glory Drive and the AIT-Igbogene Ring Road has been completed and put to used, the Nembe Unity Bridge, Aguobiri bridge amongst other and that Governor Diri was able to stabilized the flight, thinking of the pains of Bayelsans by connecting our islands and people in the rural communities to the world.

In the Education sector, Rt. Hon. Isenah said the governor thinks outside the box by building and equipping Technical College across the state as he believes the mainstream cannot accommodate the work force and that he has also equipped the Niger Delta University and all Faculty and Courses have been accredited and the education sector has been changed for the better.

According to the former speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Governor Diri is judiciously using the State resources to transform the land and that most of the time his level of sacrifice is shocking him.

For the cost of the Glory Drive phase 2, I wish people could understand the current inflationary value and time frame when the same project was awarded by Chief Timipre Sylva for N18bn and N9bn was paid to the contractor without doing nothing, but Diri has completed the road.

About the verdict of the Appeal Court setting aside the initial disqualification of Sylva, Isenah said the Case was not Instituted by PDP nor Diri so they are not much concerned about it and that is why they are vigorously going on with their campaigns across the State telling the people of Governor Diri achievements and what will do coming back and congratulated him.

As a former Lawmaker the Executive and Legislators relationship is cordial and there are some bills they kill without the masses knowing of them.

Concerning the Chief of Army Staff warning for those who’re intending to make trouble, yes I am glad to hear that from the Military and trust me if the military are professional there will be a credible Poll in Bayelsa, Kogi & Imo and Nigeria at large. And I trust they’ll be professional in their dealing Rt. Hon. Isenah said.

He therefore, charged the Security Agencies to stand their ground on credible elections of one man one vote and no result should be written for anyone as they are hearing some are planning to do.

However, I want it to be on record that I didn’t attack anyone in KOLGA as I heard my name was published somewhere as among those who attack APC people in KOLGA, and reiterated that he is not a violent person and I will never be.
