Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has promised to keep his campaign promises if elected President next year.

Tinubu gave the assurance yesterday, lamenting the deplorable state of Warri, Delta State, and promising to work with his governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo Agege, to address the state’s underdevelopment challenges.

In summarizing his support for Omo Agege’s election as governor of the state, he stated that the Delta steel company was not for sale, and that he would make sure that people’s dreams were realized during his administration.

“I intend to keep my promises to you.” Your desires will be fulfilled. Warri is crumbling. They are unaware of the path, knowledge, or development path. “We know the way,” the candidate said.

“Look at Lagos’ track record of development and prosperity.” “I am here, hope is here, and prosperity is here.”

He stated that his administration would work with the state’s governor, Omo Agege, to create development opportunities for the people of the state.

“You are aware that the Senate President, Omo Agege, will be the next governor.” He will work with me, the next President, to promote development. Omo Agege represents renewed hope. Your steel industry exists to develop, not to sell.”

Earlier, the party’s National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu, presented the Delta’s standard bearer, Omo Agege, with the party’s flag.

Chief Emma Eneukwu, the Deputy National Chairman, represented the Chairman, who urged Delta residents to vote for all party candidates.

In an earlier speech, Omo Agege challenged the Delta State government to account for funds accruing to the state from the thirteen percent derivation fund and internally generated revenue, emphasizing the government’s failure to meet the people’s aspirations.

Senator Ahmed Lawal, the party’s former National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, and Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi, were among those urging Deltans to vote for the party in the general election.

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodima and Plateau counterpart Simon Lalong were among those present.
