“Tinubu, Start Packing”, Gbadamosi Says As Protest Erupts In Northern Nigeria Over Cost Of Living.
Politician and Obidients movement frontliner, Babatunde Gbadamosi, recently responded to a video showing northerners protesting against the high cost of living.
This comes as no surprise, considering the widespread reactions following the increase in fuel prices. The removal of fuel subsidy by the president resulted in an immediate surge in fuel prices to N500 per litre, and just recently, another increase took it to N617 per litre.
This has sparked numerous discussions across the nation. Gbadamosi’s reaction to the video showed angry individuals chanting “Komi Yayi Sadar,” which translates to the cost of living becoming expensive.
Taking to his verified Twitter page, the politician expressed that this is just the beginning, with changes occurring gradually.
In his own words, “Small small, it will start. Let’s see if soldiers and police will dare to shoot these ones. Tinubu, start packing.”
