Upon Everything I Did, INEC Still Have Mind To Give Me Only 3000 Votes In My Own LGA – PDP Jandor
Following the Saturday 18th Governorship election in Lagos State, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Adediran also known as Jandor, has announced that he was surprised with all his efforts and reputation, the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, gave only 3,000 votes to him while they were announcing election results from the Ojo Local Government Area of the state.
If you recall vividly, the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had won that Local government area with the total of 30,797 votes, defeating his closet rival, the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, who polled 19,027 votes, leaving behind Jandor of the People’s Democratic Party.
According to Jandor, he said, “When we see the last of the process, we will know what action to take. We haven’t done anything because we have not seen the last of it. Yes, a supposed winner has been declared, but the election is a process, and not an event”.
