Why Is Keyamo Still Functioning As Tinubu’s Campaign Spokesman, Is Campaigning Not Over? – HURIWA
The National Coordinator of Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, Emmanuel Onwubuiko, has blasted some ministers under the administration of Muhammadu Buhari for abandoning their posts and continuing campaign for Bola Tinubu even after the election.
Emmanuel Onwubuiko stated that he does not know why the Minister of State for Labour, Festus Keyamo, is still working as Bola Tinubu’s campaign spokesman even after Bola Tinubu has been declared president-elect.
Emmanuel Onwubuiko wondered if the presidential campaign is not over yet. Emmanuel Onwubuiko went on to say that he does not think it is proper for Festus Keyamo, Lai Mohammed, and Sunday Dare to be traveling all over the world with tax payers money campaigning for the president-elect.
Emmanuel Onwubuiko went on to liken what Festus Keyamo, Lai Mohammed, and Sunday Dare are doing to working for an interim government. He noted that since Bola Tinubu is not the president of Nigeria yet, he has no Constitutional power to be directing Nigerian Ministers to travel out of the country to work for him, thereby, making them abandon their primary duties as ministers.
