Isiokpo Community in Rivers State played host to the AG MD/CEO of the NDDC Prof. Nelson Brambaifa, and the entire management of the Commission, as the Executive Director of Finance & Administration(EDFA) Mr. Chris O. Amadi Celebrates his new appointment in the House of the Lord.
In a statement made available to TrackNews by the special adviser Media/Publicity to the Ag.MD Barr.Igbeta Ayebakuro said, at the Thanksgiving/Dedication Service which held at the ST. John’s Anglican Church Isiokpo, which was well attended by high profile dignitaries like the Hon. Minister for Transportation His Excellency Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi (Represented by the Chairman of the APC in River State Cheif Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree), the DG of NIMASSA Dr. Dakuku Adol. Peterside and many others.
Mr. Chris Oyirinda Amadi thanked God for the appointment and dedicated his time in the Commission for the service of humanity to the glory of the Most High God, he on behalf of the entire Management of the NDDC thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the opportunity given the team to serve the people of the Niger Delta region, and also poured encomiums on the Hon. Minister for Transportation (HE Rotimi Achaechi) who God has being using to cause his light to shine, since after their first meeting in 1998, and other well meaning persons for standing strong as leaders of the region to ensure that the due demands of the region are met by the government, the EDFA stated further that he owes it all to Amaechi who has being a father and a senior brother and has enabled him become the first Ikwere son to be appointed into the Board of the NDDC, even though all four Ikwere LGAs are oil producing LGAs.
Mr. Chris Amadi also used the opportunity of the Thanksgiving service to plead the continues support of the people of the region, especially in prayers, support for Commission’s projects/programmes, Responding to fervent desires of the people of Isiokpo Community as expressed by the Presiding Priest and Mr. Chris Amadi, which includes the completion of the St. John’s Nursery/ Primary School Isiokpo, and the the provision of electricity for the Community; Prof. Nelson Brambaifa (Ag MD of the NDDC) in his usual philanthropist and magnanimous approach to the plight of the Niger Delta People directed the EDFA to immediately commence the necessary processes for meeting demands of the people, especially the provision of electricity, which the MD described as the key to a healthy/happy living, and development.
