TRACKING>>The Ag. Managing Director of the NDDC Prof. Nelson Brambaifa on Friday stormed his home town “Agberre” in Sagbama LGA. of Bayelsa state, as he comes home to perform his Civic duty of Voting in the Elections.
In a statement made available to TrackNews by the special Adviser on media and publicity Barr.Igbeta Ayebakuro said, on arrival Prof. Brambaifa was received by mammoth crowd from the Community and nearby towns as they welcome their worthy son home, the men, women, and youth of Agbere could not hold their joy as they thank President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC for recognizing a son of their land to hold the exalted position and prayed the Federal Government to perfect their good work by substantiating his appointment.
As a show of appreciation and solidarity to the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government, hundred of youth, women, and elderly ones publicly decamped from the PDP and other Political parties to the APC, joining the APC Ward Chairman to receive the decampees to the party, Prof. Brambaifa who was represented by his Special Adviser on Political matters Hon. Erepadei thanked the people for their show of solidarity and love for the erudite Professor and his party, promising that the people of the Niger Delta would experience real and positive trends of progress from the NDDC, giving the leadership prowess and the astute discipline of Brambaifa who always wants to see and inspire development in the Niger Delta.
Speaking after a separate meeting with Community leaders from across the L.G.A, through his S.A on Media and Publicity, Barr.Igbeta Ayebakuro, Prof. Brambaifa urged the people of the Niger Delta to remain forcussed amidst the postponed elections, stating that people should reject any attempt to take them back to the dark days, he urged people of the region to be consistent in their believe and faithfulness to the ideals of the government towards bringing about sincere changes and Development to the region, while asking them to be of good behavior and shun violence, rancho, blood letting and anything that would instigate anachy, as elections are all about voting and not fighting.
