Prominent Itsekiri Chief Ikomi dies

A prominent Chief of Warri kingdom in Delta State Dr Charles Ikomi is dead.

His younger brother and secretary Warri Council of Chiefs, Chief Eugene Ikomi, disclosed this on his Facebook page on Thursday evening.

“And so I lost my mentor, Chief Dr. C.D Ikomi. We were in trenches together for the good of our Nation. He fought a good fight. Rest on brother.
Really painful,” the post reads.

The deceased was the Ero of Warri kingdom and patriarch of the Ikomi family.

He hailed from Ugbege community in Warri North Local Government Area.
