PSV vs Arsenal: Arteta confirms two players that missed training

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has allayed fears over Gabriel Martinelli and Oleksandr Zinchenko after the two players missed training on Wednesday.

The Gunners welcome PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The clash was originally scheduled for the start of September, but was rescheduled following Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

Arsenal are currently top of Group A after three wins from their first three fixtures, while PSV are just two points behind.

Three points at the Emirates would go a long way to securing top spot, but Arsenal seem to have a few injury issues ahead of the match with both Martinelli and Zinchenko absent from training.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Arteta was asked if the duo are out of Thursday’s match and replied: “No, they’re not ruled but we will see tomorrow what we decide
