A photo of a Nigerian Divisional Police Officer simply known as SP Alimeke Ignatius soaked in blood after going to quell a cult attack between two prominent high schools in Abeokuta has sparked reactions on social media.

In the now-viral photo, the DPO of Adatan Police station was pictured soaked in his own blood after he responded to a distress call from authorities to quell the cult attacks between students of Asero High School and Egba High School, both in Abeokuta Ogun state.

Social media users expressed shock as many could not fathom how young teenagers in high school could inflict such an injury on the policeman.
