Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

As the 2023 general elections approach, Toyin Amuzu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Ogun State, has urged Nigerians to save themselves from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Amuzu believes Nigerians should vote against the APC in the next general election because the country’s living conditions are deteriorating by the day.

Amuzu, who is running for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency in Ogun, gave this advice while donating a water borehole to the people of Elite in Abeokuta’s Idi-Aba neighborhood.

While lamenting the country’s current economic downturn, insecurity, and other challenges, Amuzu stated that “the ruling party has no solution to the myriad of problems confronting the nation.”

According to him, “the high cost of living, particularly for staple foods, is quite worisome and becoming unbearable,” and people are now struggling to make ends meet.

Amuzu lamented that, despite the APC’s “dismal performance,” the party has seen no reason “to ameliorate or cushion the effects of its failures by supporting the suffering masses, even as prices of various goods continue to soar.”

He advised people to keep track of their friends and foes, saying, “we in the PDP are committed to a better society where the overall well-being of our people and the development of our communities are top priorities.”

“No doubt, the PDP has vast experience in governance, and we have learned our lessons,” he added. They have, however, destroyed our economy and much else. The realities on the ground have demonstrated that governance is not a child’s game, and the PDP gave it their all during their tenure, despite their elaborate lies, vile propaganda, and deception.

“Please, if Nigerians want a vibrant change that will lift them out of poverty, they should openly reject the APC in the 2023 elections.”
