Christmas is a special time of the year. It is the season of hope anchored in God’s enduring gift of love. On this note, I, Chief (DR) Oyinkuro Ifie Ereboh call on everyone to reflect on the power of God’s Christmas gift to us and in doing so, I encourage everyone to project that gift in our relationships with our families, with our beautiful state and also our beloved country. Because it is in our successful projection of that gift of selfless giving and caring for each other that lies our hope for a revived and stronger Bayelsa state.
Governor Diri, through the commissioner of transport, have made lasting changes in various aspect of the state too numerous to mention. Nevertheless, we must recount the improvements that the state has witnessed with regards to the peace and security at Tombia junction, the free flow of transportation at Tombia/Etegwe round about and the commencement of Bayelsa state airport. It is obvious that the future of bayelsans is rest assured and the festivity of the season will be packed with merriment.
I wish to further urge the general public to remember the aim of Christmas and to spend this season with their love ones, friends and relatives. Hence, each of us should also make out time to reflect on our deeds/actions this year and we should try our possible best to make amends, so grievances will not cross over with us to 2022. I wish to specially give an appraisal to the road drivers for their loyalty and diligence to the union and plead with them to spend less time on the road and more time with their families this week.
Once again, I wish you all a merry Christmas and may glad tidings rest upon your households.
UP ROAD!!!
