Salga Vice Chairman offer Master’s Degree Programme Scholarship to First Class Graduate.

The Vice Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State and chief Executive Officer of Bless & Bless Others Corporation, Hon. Okosikeme Emmanuel has rewarded scholarship to Miss Akpanari Glory, who finished from Himaliyan University (India) to further her studies.

Okosikeme made the disclosure on Monday, 21st of June 2021 in a meeting held with the students union leadership of Okumbiri Community in his office. That arrangement has been made to fund her studies by him for making her people proud with her academic achievement.

He said, “this gesture is to further encourage and challenge other undergraduates and intending students to be up and doing in their studies so as to come out in flying colors.

“When God has placed you in a certain position in the society, it is not just for yourself and family but to reach out to several others positively and I promise to keep a lending hand of support to all and sundry whenever it is within my capacity to do so most especially the student community.”

Miss Akpanari Glory made a first class honor in her undergraduate studies under the department of Business Administration from the prestigious Himaliyan University (India), and she hails from Okumbiri Community.

Leader of the delegation, Comrade Gabriel O. Calabar and President of Federated Student of Okumbiri, Comr. Justice Aweribo in their separate but similar speeches, appreciated the council vice for his continuous support to students, and also pledged to partner with him in moving Okumbiri Community forward.

As part of the visit, they also presented to him a festival seminar tagged “Students As Community Builders” through the Planning Committee Chairman Comr. Kelvin Tena Ekeremor.

In her response, Miss Glory Akpanari who was filled with excitement, salute Okosikeme for his kind gesture towards her as she continually expressed gratitude asking if it was a dream.
