TRACKING >>Chief Victor Sam-Ateki emerges Deputy Chairman of the Bayelsa Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Chief Sam-Ateke’s nomination to serve as Deputy Chairman of party was ratified in a State Working Committee meeting conducted by the Chairman of the party, Hon. Moses Cleopas and presided over by the Gov. Seriake Dickson.
The position of the Deputy Chairman of the party became vacant after the occupier, Hon. Ebi. Matthew Sunny Goli resigned to serve as Chairman of the Bayelsa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) few days ago.
The working committee also authorized stakeholders from wards there is any vacancy as a result of either death of the occupier or by reason of elevation to other offices to duly nominate replacement and send to the SWC for ratification.
