Senate confirms Keyamo, others as NDIC board members

The Senate has confirmed the appointment of six nominees as members of Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) Board.

Those confirmed as members of the NDIC Board include the Director of Media for the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo; Garba Bello, Josef Okoloagu, Mustapha Mudashiru, Adewale Adeleke, with Ronke Sokefun as Chairman.

The confirmation followed the adoption of the report by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions at Wednesday plenary.

Speaking after their confirmation, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, urged the newly confirmed members to live up to their responsibilities.
