An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Senator Andy Uba, has said his party will easily win the Governorship election if he is given the ticket.
TrackNews Online reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed the guber poll for November 6th, 2021.
Speaking to APC supporters on Tuesday, Senator Uba boasted that, “2007 campaign will be a child’s play if you give me your ticket.”
“I will replicate the amazing campaigns of 2007 election in the 326 wards and 21 Local Government Areas of the state which gave me overwhelming victory during the election,” the former aide to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo said.
“The record has not been equaled by any governorship candidate in the state till date. I will take the APC campaign for the November 6 election in the state to another level.”
“I promise to surpass my unprecedented campaign of 2007 if chosen as the flag bearer of APC in this contest,” Andy Uba said.
“While my opponents in the election were satisfied with breezing visits to the metropolitan cities of Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi and a few towns, I carried my message of ‘paradigm shift’ to dusty villages and hamlets in the state.”
