Omoyele Sowore, a Nigerian activist, has asked Nigerians in the United Kingdom, UK, to send President Muhammadu Buhari back to Nigeria.

Kemi Filani recalls that the president had on Tuesday had departed for the UK for his medical check-up.

The presidency asserted that Buhari would return to the country in two weeks time, which is during the second week of the month of April.

However, on Twitter, Sowore, who had been against the Buhari-administration over alleged bad governance, insisted that the president be chased back to use the country’s medical facilities.

“Nigerians in the UK, please help send @mbuhari back home for his annual medical check-up at the “World Class” hospital he built in Nigeria! If you’re one of the 8,000 medical doctors of Nigerian descent in the UK, you should join this fight”, he tweeted.
