Napoli manager, Luciano Spalletti has stated that Victor Osimhen will be fine after the striker picked up an injury against Sassuolo on Friday night.

Osimhen pointed to his thigh after he was substituted in the 85th minute.

Spalletti has, however, said the issue was nothing serious.

“For what was assessed there straight away, it doesn’t look like anything special, just a bit of tiredness because he (Osimhen) can’t spare himself, Spalletti told DAZN.

“When he has this urge to push, he stretches and does these runs where you don’t know where he’ll end up.”

Osimhen scored Napoli’s second goal in the 2-0 win at the MAPEI Stadium.

It was his 18th goal in 19 league appearances for Napoli this season. The Partenopei have an 18-point lead at the top of the log
