The Lagos State Police Command has on Thursday shot teargas at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos, as a memorial procession to mark the second anniversary of the #EndSARS shooting at the location took place.
Track News Nigeria learnt that unsatisfied Nigerians had gathered at the Lekki Tollgate to air their the second grievances on the anniversary of the #EndSARS protests and Lekki Massacre.
A lot of young people organised and marched through major cities throughout the country over two weeks of the #EndSARS in October 2020, calling for a stop to incessant police brutality and other forms of injustice.
Participants noted that the #EndSARS anniversary is to preserve the memory of the unarmed civilians who were murdered by state agents on October 20, 2020, at the Lekki Tollgate.

Nigerian clown, Adebowale Adedayo (Mr Macaroni) and pop singer, Folarin Falana (Falz), were seen as the #EndSARSmemorial procession started at the Lekki tollgate on Thursday.
