TRACKING_____The Councilor representing Southern Ijaw Ward 3, Bayelsa state, Hon. Tonye Opuofoni, has given out 50 Jamb Forms to students from his Ward. According to him, the presentation was made as part of his educational support initiative to the people he represents. The first set of beneficiaries received theirs while the rest is expected to be delivered to those in the various communities.
The event was attended by the Executive Chairman of Southern Ijaw LGA, Chief (Hon) Kia Ebidoughebofa Nigeria, his amiable vice, Evang. Parkins Ogede, Political Secretary, Hon. Mao Onini, fellow Councillors, Community representatives, friends and beneficiaries.
While speaking at the gathering, Chief (Hon) Kia commended the Councillor for coming up with such initiative to reach out to his people especially on educational issues. He encouraged him and everyone to continue in this spirit, while pledging his support at all times.
Other speakers and beneficiaries lauded the Councillor for taking this bold step and doing something significant for his people. They prayed God to continue to bless him and grant him the grace to continue in that light.
