Sochaux confirm Ozornwafor’s invitation for Nigeria vs Algeria friendly

Sochaux defender, Valentine Ozornwafor, has been named in Nigeria’s squad for the international friendly against Desert Foxes of Algeria.

The French Ligue 2 club confirmed the centre-back’s invitation on their official website on Wednesday.

“Valentine Ozornwafor has been called up to Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming international break,”reads a statement on the club’s official website.

“The Super Eagles will play a friendly match against Algeria on September 27 in Oran.”

The 23-year-old will link up with his international teammates on September 19.

Ozornwafor is on loan at Sochaux from Turkish Super Lig giants, Galatasaray.

He has been capped once by Nigeria
