Brazil ‘fears Neymar’s World Cup could be over’

Brazil fears that Neymar may not play any other game at the 2022 World Cup.
The UK Mirror reports the Paris Saint-Germain forward is struggling to recover from his ankle sprain.
Neymar started the opening game against Serbia, but had to come off in the second half after a heavy challenge.
After undergoing a scan, the team’s medical department assured that Neymar would only miss the group stage.
The player was expected to return for the knockout rounds if the Selecao managed to progress.
However, there are fresh concerns that Neymar’s injury could be worse than first anticipated and he may have suffered ligament damage.
Brazil are due to play their Round of 16 fixture on Monday or Tuesday, but the PSG star is unlikely to feature in that and he may have kicked his last ball in Qatar
