Chelsea manager Graham Potter believes that the club’s fans are aware that the owners are working hard to resurrect the club.

Potter came in as a surprise replacement for Thomas Tuchel, who was fired just a few weeks into the current season.

Following the Blues’ recent slump in form, the gaffer has come under scrutiny after a promising start.

, “Of course, I hope they do, but I can also understand that when we’re not playing well and things don’t look as they would like, everybody gets frustrated. That is something I understand. I’m not naive; I know people will say I’m not good, or this or that. It has occurred throughout my career “Potter made the remarks following his team’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

“Potter was terrible if you go back to Ostersunds and look at a website from the first 18 months. That is understandable. There will be people in this room who believe the same thing, but I can probably provide you with a lot of evidence to the contrary. Fortunately, they [the owners] share my viewpoint, and there has been a lot of support for me in terms of interactions I’ve had with our supporters who understand our situation and are very supportive.

“However, we haven’t been perfect, so we must accept any criticism that comes our way when we don’t get the performances and results we want here,” Potter added.
