The change in the dugout is listed under “post balance sheet events.”

This is a record fee paid by a Premier League team for a head coach.

It is however the second biggest of all time, only behind Bayern Munich’s £22m payout to bring in Julian Nagelsmann from RB Leipzig in 2021.

Potter signed a five-year contract after he arrived at Stamford Bridge worth about £60m.
