Everton manager, Frank Lampard has said he is still confident in his ability and is not thinking about getting sacked by the Premier League.

The Toffees suffered a 4-1 defeat to Brighton in front of their fans on Tuesday night.

The visitors scored three goals in six second-half minutes to pile more pressure on Lampard.

After the final whistle, the fans booed the former Chelsea boss and the players off the pitch.

Everton have now won just one of their last 10 league games.

They will drop into the relegation zone if results go against them later this week.

But Lampard remains bullish about his future at the club.

“Since I’ve been here I’ve been in a relegation battle [both last season and this season]. I can’t control the talk but I don’t focus on it.

“I’m very confident in myself but I can’t predict the future. It’s Manchester United [in the FA Cup] next and that’s all we can look at,” Lampard told Sky Sports.
