EPL: Zinchenko reveals player likely to replace Jesus at Arsenal
Arsenal defender, Oleksandr Zinchenko, has backed Eddie Nketiah to fill the void left by Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus picked up a knee injury while playing for Brazil against Cameroon at the 2022 World Cup.
Since then, the 25-year-old has undergone surgery, which will keep him out for an extended period.
But Zinchenko believes Nketiah can step up and help Arsenal maintain their Premier League title challenge in the second half of the season.
“I have no doubts that Nketiah is going to do his job amazingly and everyone trusts him.
“We have such a great group of people. We have this feeling of togetherness,” Zinchenko told the club’s website.
Mikel Arteta’s men who are five points clear of Manchester City will restart the second part of their season with a home fixture against West Ham on Boxing Day
