Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag wants to offload up to 13 players from Old Trafford in the summer as he continues his revolution at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Dutch manager has already won the Carabao Cup in his first season at the club and is still nursing the hope to add the FA Cup and Europa League trophies to United’s cabinet this term.

The Red Devils spent £213million bringing in new faces this season and now they also need to allow some players leave before more signings can be made in order to avoid FIFA sanctions.

The Mail Online now reports that Ten Hag has sanctioned the sale of up to 13 players in the next few months – though who they are is not entirely clear.

But the likes of Anthony Elanga and Eric Bailly seem destined to move on in the summer with the former struggling for game time and attracting much interest, with a dozen clubs linked with the forward.

Others are Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams and Anthony Martial, who have struggled for game time at the club this season.

Facundo Pellistri will depart the club on loan in search of game time, while David de Gea, Phil Jones and Tom Heaton are all out of contract in the summer.

January loan signings, Wout Weghorst, Marcel Sabitzer and Jack Butland could all return to their parent clubs at the end of the season
