Ex Madrid Player Varene Retires From Football At 31
Raphael Varane, the champion of the France World Cup, revealed on Tuesday that he will be retiring from football at the age of 31.
After signing with Italian side Como for this season, the former center-back for Real Madrid and Manchester United was later left out of their Serie A roster due to a knee injury sustained in August.
“Off the field, a new life begins,” Varane posted on social media.
“I’m staying with Como.” Just without my shin protectors and boots.
“I’m excited to discuss more about it soon,” the four-time Champions League victor continued.
