Flying Eagles ready to conquer the world – Bosso
Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso is now focused on winning a first title at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
The seven-time African champions fell short of adding to their title at the just concluded Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt, going home with the bronze medal.
The Flying Eagles finished the competition on a positive note thrashing Tunisia 4-0 in the third-place match.
Despite their failure to win the ultimate prize in Egypt, Bosso is upbeat his team can go all the way at the World Cup.
“Our fresh target is doing very well at the FIFA World Cup,” Bosso said during the reception organized for the team in Abuja on Monday night.
“That is our next target and we will work hard to ensure we bring the trophy to Nigeria.”
The Flying Eagles have made it to the final of the U-20 World Cup twice but came second on both occasions
