Nottingham Forest forward, Taiwo Awoniyi returns to full training after spending time on groin injury
Nottingham Forest forward, Taiwo Awoniyi has returned to full training after spending time on the sidelines due to a groin injury.
Awoniyi picked up the injury in Nottingham Forest’s 1-0 win against Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium in January.
The 25-year-old scored his side’s decisive goal in the encounter.
The Nigeria international stepped up his recovery by returning to full training this week.
Awoniyi’s return will be a massive boost for Forest, who are looking to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The striker has scored four goals in 16 league appearances for Steve Cooper’s side this season.
His actual return date has not been specified by the club
