Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper says Taiwo Awoniyi could be involved in clash against Wolves
Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper has said Taiwo Awoniyi could be involved in Saturday’s (today) home clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Awoniyi is back on his feet again after spending around three months on the sidelines due to a groin injury.
The 25-year-old’s last appearance for the Tricky Trees was against Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium in January.
The Nigeria international scored the winning goal for Nottingham Forest in the game.
“He’s back now. He looks sharp. He definitely looks motivated and excited to be involved again,” Cooper told a press conference.
“We look forward to reintroducing him, whenever that may be.”
Awoniyi has made 16 appearances for Forest with four goals to his name
