Real Madrid midfielder rejects contract extension offer to remain at Carlo Ancelotti’s side

Real Madrid midfielder, Dani Ceballos, has reportedly rejected a contract extension offer from Los Blancos.

According to Fichajes, all signs point towards Ceballos leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old’s contract will expire at the end of the season, and he considers Real Madrid’s latest offer to be insufficient.

Ceballos could be heading for the exit door this summer as Atletico Madrid, Real Betis, and an unnamed Serie A club are showing interest in the player.

The Spaniard has impressed when called upon this season, scoring one goal and registering eight assists in 41 games across competitions for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

Ceballos joined Real Madrid from Real Betis in 2017 for €16.5 million and was loaned to Arsenal during the 2019/2020 season
