Ronaldo reveals why Man United have not reached Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool’s top levels
Cristiano Ronaldo has slammed Manchester United’s current state, claiming that the club he adores has fallen behind Manchester City, Liverpool, and current table toppers Arsenal.
Ronaldo went on to say that he has been labeled a “black sheep” and that he is to blame for everything that has gone wrong at the Theatre of Dreams.
In an interview with veteran journalist Piers Morgan, the 37-year-old Portugal international stated.
Ronaldo has missed Manchester United’s last two games due to illness, according to his manager.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus forward stated that the purpose of the interview was to inform club fans about what is going on at the club.
“You have some things inside that prevent [us] from reaching the same level as City, Liverpool, and now Arsenal… In my opinion, a club of this size should be at the top of the tree, but they aren’t,” he said.
“They’re always on my side,” the Portuguese said of the club and its supporters.
He insisted that Manchester United “do it differently… They must make numerous changes.
