Super Eagles coach Peseiro coy on salary delay by NFF
Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has refused to comment on the failure of the Nigeria Football Federation to pay his salary on a regular basis.
The Portuguese is reportedly owed 10 months salary by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Peseiro earns $70, 000 as salary per month.
There were reports the former Venezuela and Saudi Arabia coach was keen to walk out of the job last year.
“The situation about my salary is between me and the NFF. I can’t share nothing on it,” Peseiro told media in Abuja on Thursday.
“I can share the information with my wife because she is my wife and there is no problem about that.”
The 62-year-old was appointed Super Eagles head coach in May, 2022
