The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) has completed preparations for the installation of Mr Oluwole Adeosun as its 12th President and Chairman of the Governing Board.

Adeosun will be sworn in and decorated with official paraphernalia at the high-profile event, which is scheduled for next week in Lagos.

The send-off of the immediate past president, Mr Olatunde Amolegbe, who served as the 11th president from 2020 to 2022, is one of the highlights of the event.

Adeosun was elected president in a smooth transition after serving as Second Vice President and First Vice President for two years.

Adeosun is a CIS Fellow with over two decades of experience in the financial market. He earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Ilorin in 1986 and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Banking from the University of Lagos in 1993. He has long served on the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and on numerous committees.

Adeosun is the Managing Director of Chartwell Securities Limited, a Nigerian Exchange Limited trading license holder, and a distinguished Fellow of many major professional Institutes in Nigeria’s financial services sector, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), among others.
