TRACKING___The Sultan of Sokoto, Dr Sa’ad Abubakar III has announced the sighting of the moon and to this effect it has been declared that Friday, 24th of April 2020 corresponds to the 1st Ramadan 1441 A.H.

Ahead of the announcement and the approval by Kano state government to relax the ongoing lockdown from 6am-12pm yesterday, many residents of Kano storm markets in the state to stockpile foodstuff and other necessities for the Ramadan period.
