According to a statement signed by the chairman, Sokoto State Scholarship Board, Altine Shehu Kajiji, expected beneficiaries are to come along with both identity cards and last semester’s examination card as well.

Kajiji noted further that all benefiting students from UDUS are to come over to the State Scholarship Board office from 10am.

The statement read in part, students from UDUS are to come between Wednesday, 7th to Friday, 9th November, 2018 followed by students of Sokoto State University between Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th November, 2018.

“The date of the exercise for students of other tertiary institutions across the country would be communicated in due course”.

Reacting to the gesture, an expectant beneficiary, who simply gave his name as Ibrahim from Denge-Shuni local government and a final year student of UDUS, said they have every reason to be grateful to their governor for taking priority in their education.
