…Says Gov Okowa Is A Role Model, A Consummate Leader.

The rising political profile of the Smart Governor of Delta state, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, got a boost recently when thousands of members of a political pressure group in Delta Central known as Team Fred Majemite For Okowa (TFMO), passed a vote of confidence on the state governor, for his good governance giant strides in the state, since assumption of office on May 29, 2015.
Convener of the group and former commissioner for Lands and survey, Olorogun (Barrister) Fred Okiemute Majemite, while speaking during TFMO’s empowerment programme in Delta Central, disclosed that there is no other better Deltan in the present dispensation that would rob shoulders with Gov Okowa, come 2019 governorship election.
He further asserted that the essence of constitutional democracy and or representative government is to genuinely serve the people, create positive impact in the life of majority of the people; and above all leave a good legacy behind for posterity, adding that Gov Okowa has so far fulfilled his 2015 electioneering promises to a large extent which is why he deserves a second tenure from 2019 to 2023.
“Team Fred Majemite For Okowa’s core mandate is to spread the timeless news of the good governance initiatives of this administration and to extensively reach out to eligible voters in Delta Central, especially the 19 Ughelli communities with the principal aim of mobilizing and campaigning like never before towards Gov Okowa’s landslide victory in 2019.
“We have spent huge financial resources empowering over 130 persons within the 19 communities in Ughelli in Delta central; including cash gifts for petty trading and small scale businesses, in accordance with the youth and women empowerment programmes encapsulated in the Smart Agenda of this administration.
“We also extended our gestures to all the 19 President Generals of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) in the 19 Ughelli communities and their Youth Chairmen in compliance with the universal social contract principles applicable in Delta State; between leaders and the led.
“We love, cherish and care for our leaders and Youth Chairmen of UPU, because the growth and development of Urhobo nation must start with UPU, partnering with governments, local and international development agencies.
“Okowa again 2019 is a sure banker and nothing under the sun shall stop the re-election of our governor and leader, judging from his landmark achievements in road infrastructure, sports development, huge investments in aviation and transportation; quality health care services rooted on result oriented social insurance scheme, re-introduction of technical education to enhance self employment and drastically reduce the crave for white-colar jobs, youth agriculture and Skills Training Entrepreneurship Programmes, for which over 10,000 beneficiaries have become employers of labour and bread winners for their immediate and extended families.
