Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has warned Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho that defending from the front foot must be a “way of life” TrackNews reports

Ten Hag gave the warning after Manchester United’s impressive Premier League 2-1 victory over Liverpool on Monday night.

The Dutchman also revealed that the Red Devils need leadership in the team to have good footballers.

Recall that both Sancho and Rashford scored as Man United defeated Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Speaking after Monday’s win, Ten Hag said at his post-match press conference, “In their mindset, they [Rashford and Sancho] may think I cannot do all the defending work and threat in offence, but today you can see they can do it, it has to be a way of life and the will get stronger,” ten Hag said.
