Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.

The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) has expressed regret over the damage to telecom infrastructure.

It stated that security agencies could not be present at all telecommunications infrastructure sites, so stakeholder and consumer protection was required.

Speaking at the Village Square Dialogue, an NCC grassroots telecoms consumer outreach program in Ibadan, Prof Adeolu Akande emphasized the importance of protecting telecommunications infrastructures, stating that communication with families over long distances, as well as banking, finance, education, and entertainment, would be difficult without telecoms infrastructures.
