**PROF.NELSON BRAMBAIFA DEFIES THE HEAVY DOWNPOUR, KICK-START INSPECTION OF ONGOING NDDC PROJECTS ACROSS THE NIGER DELTA, BEGINNING WITH COMMUNITIES IN RIVERS STATE.
TRACKING>>Today, as part of his official duties, the Ag. MD/CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) visited some Communities across LGAs in Rivers State including UZUOBA, OMUWOBUKWU, OMAGWA, CHOBA, RUMOUSI, OBOGORO, RUMOUKWASI, ISIOKPO and others to inspect and evaluate the quality of work done at various project sites (awarded by the Commission), which are at different stages of completion. Projects inspected includes, Road constructions/Rehabilitations, Solar Powered Water Projects, Rural Electrification, Street Lightning Projects.
The MD/CEO and his team were urshered into communities by excited members of beneficiary communities of the projects, the crowd of appreciative residents of the various communities while pouring encomiums and accolades on Brambaifa, also used the opportunity to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing credible persons like Prof. Brambaifa, Dr. Chris Oyirinda Amada, and others into the management Board of the NDDC, praying that President Buhari Confirm him as the substantive MD to aid him continue his good works for the people, stating that other Boards have been promising to do projects or assist them in one way or the other (as in the case of the unredeemed promises made during the ravaging floods that brought untold hardship to residents and community dwellers), even after writing series of letters to the Commission for its intervention but today God is using Brambaifa to affect their lives positively.
Brambaifa, on his part asked them to rather Thank President Muhammadu Buhari for using him to touch the lives of his people, meanwhile he promised to live up to the expectations of his position and use same only for the betterment of the people, he also, urged the people to put political differences aside and put completed projects into good use and protect them from the activities of miscreants who wish only to destroy good things around them.
