Adeleye Kunle Reports

Mohamed El Assy, Almeria’s Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, has revealed that three clubs are vying for Umar Sadiq’s signature, TrackNews reports.

Sadiq was instrumental in Almeria’s promotion from Spain’s Segunda Division to LaLiga last season.

In 81 league appearances for the club, the former AS Roma striker scored 41 goals.

The forward has been linked with a move away from the club, with Villarreal, Getafe, Sevilla, and Benfica reportedly interested.

Potential suitors have been scared away by Rojiblancos’ €30m valuation of the Nigerian.

“Right now, three teams are vying for him, but if he is sold, it will be at a price that we agree on,” El Assy told La Voz de Almeria.
