President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring that no part of Nigeria is excluded from ongoing and future infrastructure projects. Speaking on Monday, September 1, the President emphasized that the government is pursuing an inclusive development agenda that prioritizes equitable distribution of resources and projects across the country.

Tinubu stated that infrastructure development remains a cornerstone of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, designed to boost economic growth, create jobs, and improve the quality of life for Nigerians. He explained that roads, bridges, rail lines, power projects, and digital infrastructure are being implemented in every region, stressing that development cannot be concentrated in a few areas while others are neglected.

The President noted that previous administrations had often been accused of focusing projects in certain zones, thereby fueling regional tensions and grievances. He assured Nigerians that his government is correcting this imbalance by adopting a fair and transparent approach in planning and executing infrastructure initiatives. According to him, inclusivity in development is essential for national unity and long-term stability.

Tinubu also linked infrastructure expansion to economic transformation, saying that accessible transport networks and reliable power supply will open up industries, attract investments, and support small businesses across the federation. He reiterated that industrialization and modernization can only thrive if the basic structures of development reach every community.

The President highlighted that his administration is leveraging both public funds and private sector partnerships to drive infrastructure delivery. He pointed out that attracting investment into railways, highways, ports, and energy facilities is key to sustaining growth and reducing the pressure on government finances.

He further explained that digital connectivity is part of the infrastructure plan, with ongoing efforts to expand broadband penetration and ensure that rural and urban communities alike benefit from technological advancement. Tinubu said this will help bridge Nigeria’s digital divide and create new opportunities for youth empowerment.

Acknowledging the challenges posed by economic constraints, Tinubu maintained that his government is determined to pursue fiscal responsibility while ensuring that Nigerians see tangible results. He assured citizens that projects will not remain on paper but will be executed with urgency and accountability.

The President also appealed for patience and cooperation from Nigerians, stressing that the scale of the infrastructure deficit is enormous, and progress requires sustained effort. He called on citizens to see the projects as national assets that belong to everyone, urging communities to support and protect government investments in their regions.

Tinubu emphasized that the administration’s approach is rooted in fairness, declaring that no state, zone, or ethnic group will be marginalized in the distribution of infrastructure. He reiterated his resolve to unite the country through shared progress, noting that development can serve as a strong foundation for peace and security.

The President concluded by assuring Nigerians that the government’s commitment is unwavering, and every region will have equal access to opportunities created by infrastructure growth. He promised continued monitoring and evaluation to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and equitably, reflecting his administration’s pledge of inclusive governance.
