Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.

Senator Emma Nwaka, who represented Abia North in the Third Republic, has stated that the All Progressive Congress, APC, presidential flag bearer Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s choice of a fellow Muslim and former Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kasim Shettima, as his running mate has forced the APC out of the 2023 presidential race.

The decision was described as the “height of insensitivity” by the former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State.

Senator Nwaka, a PDP governorship candidate, stated that a Muslim/Muslim ticket would not fly in a religiously sensitive country like Nigeria.

He stated that the 2023 presidential election will be “between Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party” as a result of the APC’s action.

“I dare to say that BAT’s presidential alliance with a fellow Muslim has permanently shifted his ambition,” he says.

“It personifies insensitivity and hubris in my opinion.” It demonstrates that they are out of step with the times.

“The Abiola/Kingigbe era cannot be reenacted in Nigeria ever again, especially in a country polarized as never before by the obnoxious Buhari Administration.”

“For me, it’s now a two-horse race between Atiku and Obi.”

“Under Buhari, Nigeria lost what was left of her innocence.”

“Lifting a woman with a broken waist requires special techniques, according to my people.” Nigeria is broken; we need tact, diplomacy, and a strong sense of balance to mend it.

“To lift a woman with a broken waist, you must use both hands.”
