TRACKING___Actress Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill has joined the protest against rape in Nigeria by lending his voice on social media.

Since the tape and brutal murder of a UNIBEN student, Uwaila Omozuwa, many Nigerians have called for justice for rape victims.

It has also been discovered that an 11-year old girl was raped in the north by 14 men.

Expressing anger at the trend, Olakunle Churchill wrote: “The tragedies that have washed over us as a nation have left me gripped with an inexplicable sense of anger and grief. I’ve written and rewritten this post because I’m so confused. Where is the justice?? Where are the reforms?? Rape is one of the worst dehumanizing injustices that any person could face.

“How many more women and girls need to be raped, brutalized, murdered before the authorities make a visible effort to fix the system? To hunt down and prosecute perpetrators of such heinous crimes without prejudice??? These are not just our sisters our mothers or our friends. These are human beings and they have a right to feel safe.

“I am sad, I am angry and above all, I am so so sorry that it had to take more loss for the voices of victims and their families and friends to be heard. THIS MUST STOP!! RAPE IS INHUMANE! POLICE BRUTALITY IS INHUMANE!! CONTINUE TO SAY THEIR NAMES
