Transfer deadline: Midfielder leaves Arteta’s squad for EPL rivals as Jorginho arrives

Arsenal midfielder, Sambi Lokonga is set to join Crystal Palace on a loan deal until the summer.

Lokonga has endured a tough time at the Emirates since he joined from Anderlecht.

Palace are ready to take the Belgium international for the rest of the season.

The Selhurst Park side are currently managed by former Arsenal captain, Patrick Vieira.

Lokonga’s exit might also be due to the face Jorginho is arriving from Chelsea on an 18-month deal.

Mikel Arteta has turned his attentions to Jorginho, after failing to convince Brighton to sell Moises Caicedo
