Nigeria midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has admitted he would like to pen a new contract at Premier League club, Everton.

Iwobi’s current contract will expire in 2024 and the Toffees have opened talks with his representatives over a new deal.

Everton reportedly want the 26-year-old to commit to a new five-year contract.

The former Arsenal player has stated that staying at the Goodison Park remain his priority.

“I want to win as many things as I can with this club. That is why I came here, the club was very ambitious and it still is. I’d like to stay,” Iwobi told the Track News.
