Transfer: McManus warns EPL club against selling best player to Man Utd

Former Hibernian striker Tam McManus has warned West Ham United against letting Declan Rice join Manchester United or Chelsea.

Both Premier League giants are interested in signing the England midfielder this transfer window.

But the Scotsman believes it would be suicidal for West Ham if they allow the England internationals leave the London Stadium this month.

West Ham United are winless in their last five league games, losing four, and have dropped to 17th in the standings.

McManus warned the club to snub such advances and keep hold of their prized asset.

“It would be suicidal, they can’t sell Rice this month,” the former Hibernian striker told Football Insider. “That would be the end of them
