Napoli is not willing to lose star striker Victor Osimhen this summer and will meet his agent to discuss a new contract.

Osimhen played a vital role in the Partenopei’s Scudetto success in the just concluded season.

The forward scored 26 goals and provided five assists in 32 league appearances.

Manager Luciano Spalletti has already left the club while defender Kim Min-Jae and sporting director Cristiano Guintoli are also set to depart.

The Naples club is determined to keep Osimhen, who has a strong interest in the Premier League.

Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, according to TMW has already set up a meeting with Osimhen’s agent to discuss a new contract for the striker.

The Nigeria international is currently contracted to Napoli until 2025 and is valued by the club at around €120m, a figure they hope will be enough to ward off interest in the upcoming summer transfer window
