Former Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique is set to come out of retirement and play for FC Andorra, according to Relevo.

Pique had announced his retirement from football just before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

On 5 November, 2022, the 35-year-old played his last game at the Camp Nou.

He was substituted off to a standing ovation in the 84th minute of Barca’s 2–0 victory against Almería.

It is understood he’s already bored of being outside the game and wants to represent the Spanish club he owns.

However, playing for the second-division side would come with wage complications under Spanish regulations
